Smooth Jazz Favorites and Latin Beats
Mike started playing guitar at age 10 in Southern California, moving to Chico in 1972. Mike played with the Chico State Jazz Ensemble from 1972 to 1975 and with several local bands from then until 2001 when he joined forces with local jazz singer, Susan Schrader and other local artists to form Jazz Impressions and later Jazz Satie. In recent years, Mike continues to play with Susan and other local jazz greats like 2011 CAMMIE winning singer, Holly Taylor and jazz virtuoso guitarist Eric Peter in their group, "The Magnificent 7's" who were nominated for the 2010 CAMMIE as best jazz artists.

Mike's smooth style blends traditional jazz standards, with sensual latin beats and iconic popular favorites. All music is played low volume levels making the music conducive to fine dining, musical background at private parties, weddings, almost any occasion. Pictures, sample CD's and songlists are available upon request.

Private Parties in Chico area: 2 Hours, $150, 3 Hours $200.00
Public Address System available at all engagements: $50.00 additional (please request in advance)
